Whether it’s Calvin Klein or Mick Jagger, Serena Cook is the lady the jet-set call when they are planning to do Ibiza in style. From organizing Ricardi Tisci’s extravagant 40th birthday (which hosted Kim and Kanye, Kate Moss and Justin Bieber) to exclusively managing David Guetta’s private villa- which rents for 250,000 Euros per week in peak season, she’s the lady-to-know on the island. Best friends with Jade Jagger, her concierge company Deliciously Sorted is in every A-Lister’s little black book and so we asked her share, exclusively for The Chosen Club, an intimate guide of where to eat, drink, shop and (of course) party when in town. Here’s Serena’s edit.
La Granja Ibiza
Sleep: La Granja Ibiza is a stunning design hotel in a converted Finca in the countryside near Santa Gertrudis. Design Hotels combine aesthetic with the concept of a hotel as a social medium so they have a great calendar of events combined with a delicious farm to table restaurant.
Sleep: For a totally different aesthetic I really love the new Nobu Hotel on Talamanca with its fresh style and Miami vibes right on the water as well as of course the Sixth Senses spa at the hotel.
Eat: My favourite new opening this summer is Peyotito. They serve really delicious Mexican food and lethal cocktails like their Mezcal Margarita. It is the perfect pre-party dinner venue as the food is tasty but light and of course the cocktails get you going!
Eat: La Muella in the North in my view should be offered a Michelin Star – the chef Gome Galily is seriously talented and his food is a work of art on a plate. I hosted my birthday dinner here.
Es Moli del Sal
Eat: For lunch nothing beats escaping to Formentera for delicious seafood at Es Moli del Sal followed by a swim in the turquoise waters.
Dance: I love DC10. Always have, always will… The music is cutting edge and there is no real VIP area. It reminds me of the old Ibiza; bohemians mixing with millionaires mixing with trendy kids, all for the love of dance.
Dance: Black Coffee’s collaboration with Cathy Guetta at the seriously glam new Hi Ibiza is a definite favourite. I love the floating theatre style VIP and the laser and sound system is second to none.
Shop: I always find something in Mayurka which is owned by a mother and daughter who both have a great eye. They stock my favourite designers like Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney and Aquazurra.
Do: Keith Haring at the Nave Salinas which is a beautiful warehouse space at the end of Salinas beach owned by New York gallerist Lio Malca. It is so exciting to have such iconic art in Ibiza!
Recuperate: I have Sophie Clyde on speed dial for unbelievable reflexology and incredibly restorative dawn yoga sessions on my roof in the North of Ibiza- she keeps me calm!
