Former Australian gymnast Nadia Fairfax has since created a beautiful digital empire: The Fairfax Journal. Splitting her time jetting between NYC and Sydney, her gorgeous Instagrams had attracted 20k followers before she'd even decided to launch her blog. Sharing for the first time where she loves to party, below is a full list of the cities she frequents most often. As the beautiful Australian blonde confesses: "When I say “play," I simply mean "have a delightfully awesome time.” Typically, I don't go to outrageously annoying nightclubs! I have fun in great restaurants, low key saloons, rocking hotel lobbies or their seaside set bars.” Exclusively for The Chosen Club, here’s Nadia’s hit list of where to go. "Just add good friends,” she smiles.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Hotel Centennial
I love this venue so much! I have been coming here ever since I was a little girl. My parents even share fond memories of "playing" here back in their hey-day. It can seem so cozy in winter, yet so bright and airy during the Australian summer. Fabulous for a hearty lunch, yet also great for a quick spritz. There is something special for all at Hotel Centennial.
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES: The Flower Shop
A social hub for the cool kids of NYC... You never know who'll you bump into here. Eat upstairs, play pool / boogie / lounge out downstairs.
BODRUM, TURKEY: Maca Kizi
I lived here in 2012 for 6 months. I just couldn't leave. Not only is the hotel divine, the beach club is mesmerising. Set on crystal blue waters, this venue is the perfect combo between total relaxation and a little "party party"... Open only during the summer, this is THE place to be in all of Turkey.
BALI, INDONESIA: Da Maria
Da Maria comes from the brainchild of Sydney's Iconic Icerbergs dining room: Maurice Terzini. Simple Italian food, delectable cocktails, mixed with music! It's so on point it would make ibiza jealous.
MIAMI, UNITED STATES: Mrs Mandolinis @ SOHO house
The sister of Mandolin Aegean bistro, which is located in miami's design district (and also AHHH-mazing!) this little gem is located in a little courtyard behind the pool at SOHO house, it is small, but the atmosphere is big. Think of a rustic, Greek taverna on South Beach! WIN.
HAVANA, CUBA: La Guardia
I recently visited Cuba and this was most certainly the highlight. A rooftop restaurant with an exceptional view of Havana- no words, or photos can do this place justice. Just go. Even the stairway entrance is mind blowing.
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Loulou's @ 5 Hertford
Loulou's is the underground bar at 5 Hertford. Sadly, 5 Hertford is a members-only club, but make a few calls! No doubt one of your local Londoner's is surely a member and will kindly take you as their guest.
LOS ANGELES, UNITED STATES: Lady Delilahla
Perfect for dinner, drinks and dancing - in that order. You are transported back to the roaring 20's when you enter. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a fabulously chic burlesque show.
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: Good Heavens
Melbourne is the only city in Australia that nails rooftop bars and with a mixologist that keeps the cocktails on a global scale. Good Heavens is a place not to be missed while in Melbourne... Great for a little boogie too!
CENTRAL, HONG KONG: Mott 32
Peking duck perfection, innovative cocktails, seriously good service and interiors that cross between NYC and imperialist china. What more could one want?
