When it came to our New York City for men guide, we knew we had to have a super-stylish guest curator. Antony Sonic, founder of hip skincare label for men, Antony Brands (shop it here) and board member of The Whitney Museum of American Art print acquisition team, proved perfect. With a 3,000 square foot loft in Soho and an impressive art collection of Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein and Jeff Koons, to name but a few, we borrowed his taste and infinite cultural knowledge to find out where the ultimate style spots in NYC are for men.

a60 bar, sixty hotel soho

Summer/fall weather permitting, you can't beat this exclusive Manhattan rooftop bar. Only open to hotel guests, members and private parties- be sure to reserve ahead of time.

the gordan bar, SIXTY HOTEL SOHO

During the colder months, I'd head to The Gordan Bar at Sixty Soho instead. Especially the back room, which is stunning.

bemelman's bar, carlyle hotel

This is old school New York City at its' finest with Art Deco murals, live jazz, servers in plush dinner jackets and elegance everywhere you look. Named after the NYC illustrator and author Ludwig Bemelman, who wrote the classic children's book Madeline. It's the perfect spot for a sharp negroni and people watching the VIP clientele.

museum of modern art

The MOMA showcases some of the greatest contemporary art in the world. This is a great place to see and be seen.

THE polo bar

It's hard to know which is more impressive here, the decor or the people watching. From the saddle leather seats to the wait staff in full Ralph Lauren attire, it's classic American food, drink and ambiance.

THe whitney museum of american art

Great outdoor spaces with expansive city views.

GOLD Bar at the edition hotel

In addition to the stunning photograph collection, the bar is also a work of art made out of 24k gold leaf.

rose bar, gramercy park hotel

An amazing drinking den with an impressive collection of world-class artwork on display.

The High Line

The High Line is an amazing example of re-purposed design and a great way to spend a few hours.

hanging out in chelseA

Saturday afternoon in Chelsea is a great time to check out New York City's art scene. Gagosian and David Zwirner galleries are two of my favorites. Bottino is a great place to visit for a bite to eat afterwards.
