"I always dreamt of living in London," says Laura Bailey about the city that has played home to her life for the past 22 years. The model, writer and most recently Creative Director of supercool eyewear company ZanZan Eyewear was a natural choice to curate our creative guide to the city. Cultural Ambassador to The British Fashion Council and Contributing Editor of British Vogue, if anyone knows the hip hangouts, it's Laura. As fashion blogger of La Petite Anglaise fame, Ella Catliff, puts it:  "if ever there was a candidate for looks/life/wardrobe envy, it's Laura Bailey." Exclusively for The Chosen Club, she shares where she finds her creative inspiration.

Home for me is just off Portobello Road. I love the markets and secret gardens of Notting Hill. Rosmead (the garden Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant break into in Notting Hill the movie) is open to the public on Sundays. I have a long love affair with All Saints Rd.

Cecconi's in Mayfair is my go-to breakfast spot. The poached eggs are divine. After I'll take a stroll to the Royal Academy for my culture fix.

The coolest store for vintage fashion and a total guilty pleasure of mine. I can't resist the vintage Chanel.

lutyens + RUBINSTEIN

My favorite place for inspirational books in the city.

claridges, the fumoir bar

Claridges will always be one of my most loved places in London. It's so beautifully old school. I'm a sucker for a hotel bar though and The Fumoir Bar is where I celebrate my birthdays (or any old excuse).

fashion and textiles museum

One of London's richest design archives. I like to visit then pop to Pure & Applied to pick up photo frames and exotic prints.

little house, mayfair

I come here regularly for both work and play! The apartment guest rooms are great for when model friends fly-in from overseas.

pizza east, portobello

A beloved spot of mine for a casual Friday night dinner. I take the kids and we have pizza and a hot chocolate.

broadway market

Fast becoming London's hipster catwalk. This is my place for a treasure-hunting day trip. I brunch at The Market Cafe.

the serpentine gallery

My dream Sunday morning is mooching around the gallery, then taking a pedal boat out on the water with the family after. London at its finest!
